Lambton County Cemetery Locations
Researchers may contact the Lambton branch re cemetery locations by e-mail: lambton@ogs.on.ca

It is
interesting to get driving directions to get to a cemetery.
The Lambton branch has all our cemetery indexes online at the Ontario OGS site
you will now be
redirected to the OGS site.
Many have had problems with
our zip files, so indexes have been moved to the Ontario Genealogical Society
site. You will find it much easier to search. Names (Surname and first name)
will only appear once in the list regardless of the number of times the name
occurs in the cemetery. Also the presence of the name does not necessarily mean
that the person is buried in the cemetery. It just means that the name appears
in an inscription or is an owner of a plot. Full details are in the published
transcription.
Search Hints:
Enter your ancestor's Last Name in the box below. Fill in the other boxes to
refine your search.
--Search multiple terms using the forward slash [/] for example Hillsdale/
Lambton
--Use the truncation symbol [*] to search for names with variant endings -for
example Brown* to retrieve Brown, Browne and others.
--Once you find the name of an ancestor, search again using the Cemetery ID to
browse the names of other people buried in the cemetery.
I.e.
If you put Cemetery name and
Lambton you will bring up the full index for that cemetery!!
